The tour starts in Mexico City where you will take a flight to the Mexican state of Chihuahua. Also visit the house of Pancho Villa and a Mennonite Farm. Travel by train from Chihuahua to Divisadero. In Cerocahui, a beautiful town with one of the oldest Catholic missions in the Sierra Mountains, enjoy a walking or horseback tour to the waterfall through the pine and oak forest. Continue by train to Los Mochis.
Your Itinerary
Day 1:
ARRIVAL TO MEXICO CITY
Upon arrival we will welcome you and provide transportation to your hotel.
Day 2:
MEXICO CITY/CHIHUAHUA
Early morning flight to Chihuahua; one of our representatives shall be waiting at the airport to take you to your hotel; a city tour and a visit to the home of the famous Pancho Villa will be taken later on. Rest of the day at leisure. ( Admissions not included )
Day 3:
CHIHUAHUA/CREEL
We shall arrive to Cuauhtemoc after a short drive, where we will visit a Mennonite farm and try its famous cheese that is produced here.
Day 4:
CHIHUAHUA/DIVISADERO
We shall take an unforgettable train journey where you can admire the Copper Canyon, one of the most spectacular wonders of the world. The train shall take us along the rim of this magnificent chasm over swift rivers and through breathtaking mountain ranges. Arrival and accommodation at Divisadero.
Day 5:
DIVISADERO/BAHUCHICHIVO (CEROCAHUI TRAIN STATION)
Welcome and transfer to Cerocahui, a beautiful town with one of the oldest Catholic missions in the Sierra Mountains. Twenty kilometers of a beautiful ride through the pine and oak forest. Free afternoon to enjoy a walking or horseback tour to the waterfall. (Tour not included) Overnight.
Day 6:
DIVISADERO/LOS MOCHIS
Before we board the train for the remainder of our rail journey along the majestic Copper Canyon, take your last stroll and pictures. Arrival at Los Mochis.
Day 7:
LOS MOCHIS TRANSFER OUT
Transfer from your hotel to the airport to take your flight home.
