Getting there: To Kosice, Poprad - by plane; Kosice, Poprad - Stara Horaren - by mikrobus (9 seater VW Transporter) or your own transport
Transport from Kosice Airport to Stará Horaren takes about 1.5 hour. Transport from Poprad Airport to Stará Horáren takes about 1 hour.
The Skiing: Ski slopes are at the altitude of 1050 m above sea level, closest ski slope only 2 km away. There are other three ski resorts with more slopes of different grades (beginners to advanced) in a radius of 15km. In January/February AVR temperature is -5C. Snow cover is good from mid December to middle/end March.
