The Himalayan range can be seen in all its splendor and Phoksondo Lake with the Ringmo village provide some of the most beautiful Nepalese scenery. We follow the ancient Tibetan salt caravan route, across two high passes and through the wilderness in one of Nepal’s most remote areas. In the Dolpo region the monsoon, created by the sea winds blowing from the Gulf of Bengal, is tempered by the Dhaulaghiri range and trekking is therefore also possible during the summer, a period during which flora explodes in all its splendor: orchids, edelweiss, campanules, forget-me-nots.

Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel. Alt. 1,350m / 4,428 ft.
Day 2: Trekking preparation day.
Day 3: Kathmandu fly to Nepalgunj and overnight.
Day 4: Nepalgunj fly to Jumla and overnight.
Day 5: Jumla trek to Danphe Langa and overnight.
Day 6: Danfelanga trek to Chautha and overnight.
Day 7: Chautha trek to Dhotu and overnight.
Day 8: Dhotu trek to Rara lake (3040 m) and overnight.
Day 9: Explore around Rara Lake and overnight.
Day 10: Rara trek to Ghorasain and overnight.
Day 11: Ghorasain trek to Sinja and overnight.
Day 12: Sinja trek to Jaljala Chaur and overnight.
Day 13: Chere Chaur trek to Jumla and overnight.
Day 14: Fly back to Nepalgunj.
Day 15: Back to Kathmandu by bus.
