Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival Stockholm. Transfer from Arlanda International Airport to your hotel in the city center. Check-in at your hotel upon arrival. The rest of the day at leisure to relax or start exploring this beautiful Swedish Capital. Overnight accommodation at Clarion Hotel Stockholm or similar.
Day 2: In Stockholm. Built on 14 islands and connected by 57 bridges, the city of Stockholm has the unique character of the 13th century Old Town and the modern high-tech architecture. With the openness of its people, Stockholm is a big city with a small town personality. It’s handy size and short walking distances makes it an easy place to explore in a short time.
This morning enjoy your regular tour “Stockholm Panorama” by bus. You will see the most famous buildings and views, including a stop at Fjallgatan, where the view of Stockholm’s islands and waters is truly wonderful. The rest of the day is at leisure after the tour. Overnight accommodation at Clarion Hotel Stockholm or similar. Includes: (B).
Day 3: In Stockholm. A chance to experience Stockholm’s unique archipelago. Your regular tour “Archipelago Tour” by boat will give you a quick guided tour of this beautiful area. You will see Stockholm from the water before setting off for the archipelago.
Your guide will tell you all about the typical archipelago sights and Stockholm’s magnificent location in between Lake Malaren and the Baltic Sea. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight accommodation at Clarion Hotel Stockholm or similar. Includes: (B).
Day 4: Stockholm – Overnight Ferry to Helsinki, Finland. Full day at leisure before boarding your overnight ferry to Finland. Dinner will be served on board. Overnight on board Silja Line, 2-berth seaside cabin. Includes: (B), (D).
Day 5: In Helsinki. Often referred to as “The Daughter of the Baltic”as well as “The Gate between East and West”, Helsinki with hundreds of little islands making up the archipelago and the past Swedish and Russian influences provide a special environment which gives the traveling guest a unique experience. With more than 80 different museums, Helsinki has museums to suit all tastes.
Take the opportunity to experience Market Square with vendors selling traditional market foods and treats as well as handicrafts and souvenirs, visit Temppeliaukio Church – The Rock Church – quarried out of the bedrock with its natural stonewalls and magnificent copper tread ceiling, Uspenski Cathedral – the biggest Orthodox Church in the Nordic region - with its thirteen golden onion-shaped domes and many more.
Check-in at your hotel upon arrival. The rest of the day is at leisure to start exploring Hesinki with your 48 hours Helsinki Card. Overnight accommodation at Sokos Hotel Torni or similar. Includes: (B).
Day 6: In Helsinki. Continue exploring Helsinki with your Helsinki Card. Overnight accommodation at Sokos Hotel Torni or similar. Includes: (B).
Day 7: In Helsinki. A full day at leisure. Overnight accommodation at Sokos Hotel Torni or similar. Includes: (B).
Day 8: Departure Helsinki. After check-out, transfer from your hotel to Vantaa International Airport for your flight back home. The tour ends upon arrival at the airport. Includes: (B).
