Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival at Addis. Overnight hotel.
Day 2: Drive from Addis Ababa to Awash park visit Awash National Park and have a chance to see summering gazelle, Beyesa Orex and different wild life. Overnight hotel.
Day 3: Drive from Awash to Harar this is the way that connect Ethiopia to Djibouti. Overnight hotel.
Day 4: Harar the 17th century walled city of Harar and visit hyena – man visit. Overnight hotel.
Day 5: Harar – Asayta the former regional city of Afar. Overnight hotel.
Day 6: Asayta – Afdera this is the place where vast amount of salt extraction done for the country demand. Overnight camping.
Day 7: Lake Afdera- Dodem visit lake Aferara a highly salt concentrated lake in Ethiopia averagely the concentration is about 75-80%.
Day 8: Dodem – Erta-Ale trek about 4-6 hours to arrive to Erta-Ale the active volcano site in the same night back to Dodem.
Day 9: Dodem – Amedela drive to Amedela a stepping stone to Dallol.
Day 10: Amedela- Dallol one of the lowest place in the world 125 mater below sea level explore different kinds of minerals like sulfur potassium.
Day 11: Dalol – Mekelle through the small town Berahle.
Day 12: Fly back to Addis Ababa and have a city tour departure.
