Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival
- Arrival at Jomo Kenyatta Airport
- transfer to the hotel for accommodation on BB
Day 2: Nairobi - Samburu
- Depart for the drive north of the country through the rich Highlands of the Kikuyu people and onwards to the Land of the colorful Borana and Samburu tribes.
- Arrive and transferred to the Lodge for lunch.
- 15:00-18:00hrs do a game drive in the reserve famous for the unique wild animals found only in Northern Kenya.
- Return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Samburu
- 06:30 – 10:00hrs Pre-breakfast game drive returning later for breakfast.
- Lunch is served at the Lodge.
- Afternoon spent on leisure at either the pool or at the Camp bar.
- 16:00 – 18:00hrs depart for a game drive for a chance to see the unique animals endemic to Northern Kenya. They include: Gerenuk, Reticulated Giraffe, Grevyi Zebra, among others. The reserve is also home to over 350 different bird species.
- Return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Samburu- Sweet Waters
- After breakfast leave for Nyeri with a last game drive
- Arrive for lunch at the Outspan Hotel and later transferred in the Hotel’s vehicles to the Treetops Lodge.
- Evening will be spent watching game from the Lodge terrace as they come to drink from the flood lit waterhole and salt lick below. It is from here that you might be lucky to see a lion or a hyena make its kill.
- Dinner and overnight at the Tree lodge.
Day 5: Sweet Waters - Nakuru
- Breakfast at the Lodge and check out.
- Depart for the drive to Nakuru via the Thompson falls.
- Arrive in time for lunch and relax before the afternoon game drive.
- Afternoon game drive until sunset. The park is also a Wildlife Sanctuary for endangered species such as the Rothschild Giraffe, White/Black Rhino. It is also home to thousands of Flamingoes, zebra, buffalo and the elusive leopard.
- Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.
Day 6: Nakuru Baringo
- Breakfast at the Lodge and depart for the drive to Lake Baringo.
- Drive to Baringo.
- Proceed on the drive to Lake Baringo to arrive for late lunch. Afternoon at leisure or take boat trip for a chance to view the numerous birds found in this area (at an extra cost).
- Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.
Day 7: Baringo- Elementaita
- after break fast leave for Lake Elementaita via Lake Bogoria Park for a chance to see the hot springs and geysers, Elementaita, stop over at the Menengai crater, lunch at the lodge
- in the afternoon a walk along the shores of the lake to see the hot springs or a walk into the kikopey hills surrounding the lake.
- dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 8: Elementaita -Maasai Mara
- Breakfast at the Lodge and depart for the drive down the Rift Valley floor to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve.
- Arrive in time for lunch followed and time to relax before the afternoon game drive.
- After game drive in the reserve to look for the big five (elephant, lion, buffalo, giraffe and other plains game).
- Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.
Day 9: Maasai Mara
- Breakfast at the Lodge
- Depart for a game drive in the Reserve which is rich in both wildlife and birdlife. Among the animals to be seen here include: lion, cheetah, leopard, buffalo, Topi, Grant’s and Thompson’s Gazelle, wildebeest among others. Other optional activities include hot-air balloon safaris followed by a Gourmet Champagne breakfast or or a visit to a Maasai Tribal Village to learn about their culture and experience a Maasai dance (Options at an extra cost).
- Lunch will be served at the Lodge.
- 16:00-18:00hrs afternoon game viewing drive until sunset.
- Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.
Day 10: Maasai Mara
- Breakfast at the Lodge/Camp
- Morning game viewing
- lunch at the lodge
- afternoon cultural visit to the masai manyatta
- dinner and overnight at the lodge
Day 11: Masai Mara – Naivasha
- After breakfast, drive to Lake Naivasha arriving in time for lunch.
- visit Hells Gate National Park and walk down to the Ol Jorowa Gorge. Other activities include; Rock climbing and cycling (at an extra cost and payable direct).
- dinner and overnight at the lodge
Day 12: Longonot Crater - Naivasha
- early breakfast followed by a short drive to the longonot crater
take a five hour climb to see the crater
- return to the lodge for lunch
- afternoon at leisure
Day 13: Naivasha - Amboseli
- After an early breakfast drive to Amboseli. Lunch at the lodge
afternoon game viewing
- dinner and overnight at the lodge
Day 14: Amboseli
- Breakfast at the Lodge
- Morning game drive in the park to see more of what the park has to offer
- Return to the Lodge for lunch.
- Afternoon at leisure to relax either by the pool or at the bar.
- 16:00hrs – 18:00hrs. Game drive in the park with an optional visit to a Maasai Tribal Village at an extra cost (For those who wish to do the Village visit).
- Return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 15: Amboseli- Tsavo West
- Breakfast at the Lodge and depart for the drive to Tsavo West National Park via Chyulu Hills arriving in time for lunch at your lodge.
- Depart for an afternoon game drive until sunset. Tsavo West is the second largest Park in Kenya and is famed for the Man-eaters during the construction of the Lunatic Lane. Among its attractions include: Chaimu and Shetani Lava flows and the Mzima springs whose source is the Chyulu Hills and provides fresh water to most of Mombasa. There is also an in-built Glass-Tank for observation of the crocodiles and hippos.
- Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.
Day 16: Tsavo West
- Breakfast at the Lodge and depart for a morning game drive.
- Lunch will be served in the lodge.
- afternoon game viewing
Day 17: Tsavo West- Tsavo East
- After break fast drive to Tsavo East.
- Lunch at the lodge followed by afternoon game drive.
- Dinner and overnight at the voi safari lodge.
Day 18: Tsavo East – Mombasa
- After break fast leave drive to Mombasa with game viewing enroute to arrive in time for lunch at the whitesands beach hotel.
- dinner and overnight at the white sands beach hotel
Days 19 - 21: These days will be spent at leisure relaxing at the beautiful beach. optional activities include scuba diving, snookering, water rafting, deep sea fishing, a visit to the old town of Mombasa, a visit to the Bamburi nature trail or the crocodile farm e.t.c. drop off to the airport for your flight home
