For those who want to either climb Mount Toubkal in the High Atlas Mountains or do one of many possible trekking circuits in the national park, we have several options available. As you hike a few hours per day, you'll enjoy picturesque Berber villages, hidden peaks, and the surrounding cliffs.

Your Itinerary:

Day 1: Marrakesh. Today, once you have arrived in Marrakesh, you'll be meeting your tour leader. You will have the day to explore and visit the Koubba Baadiyn and the Ali ben Youssef Koranic School, or the Badii and Bahia Palaces and the Saadian Tombs.

Day 2: High Atlas Mountains. Morocco tour Berber Village we will leave early in the morning today in order to begin our hike at the Berber village of Imi Ourhlad (1,300 meters). This area is known for its walnut trees, cherries, and apples. We'll be hiking up the Tizi and Techt (2,200 meters) to Imi Nifri. We'll stay the night in Tizi Oussem (1,950 meters) in a small village gite with a traditional hammam. Total walking time will be around four to five hours.

Day 3: Refuge Lipini. Today, we'll rise early to get started on our trail to Azib Tamsoult (2,100 meters). Here, we'll be able to enjoy a picnic by a waterfall for lunch. The refuge of Lipini (3,100 meters) is close by, but we'll be doing some day hikes and if visibility is clear, you'll be able to see the lights of Marrakesh at night. The total walking time will be between three and five hours, depending upon the activities you choose.

Day 4: Mount Toubkal Basecamp. From the refuge, we'll hike to the Tizi Aguelzim (3,500 meters) and down to the Mount Toubkal Neltner Basecamp (3,208 meters). The total hiking time will be around five hours.

Day 5: Summit Mount Toubkal/Return to Armed and Imlil. Today is the day we've all been waiting for! We'll get up before dawn and start our ascent up Mount Toubkal in the High Atlas Mountains (4, 167 meters). The climb takes about two to three hours. Following the summit, we'll return to the Neltner Basecamp for lunch. After a rest, we'll head down to Armed and Imlil to sleep for the night. The total walking time will be five hours.

Day 6: Armed and Imlil in High Atlas Mountains. This morning, we can take our time getting up. We'll be able to enjoy breakfast and hike around the village before lunch. Today, day hiking around the village is optional. A picnic lunch can be enjoyed overlooking the valley.

Day 7: Marrakesh. This is our last full day in Marrakesh. Enjoy the souks and the medina again, along with the famous Jma El Fna square.

Days 8-9: Essaouira. Enjoy the ramparts and watch the fisherman at the port. We also have kiteboarding, windsurfing, kayaking, on-the-beach horseback and camel riding options available.
