Featured is a half day excursion in Bangkok to the Royal Grand Palace. In Chiang Mai, touring includes an excursion to Doi Suthep Temple, one of the most important and magnificent pagodas and shrines in Northern Thailand and to nearby Bhubing Palace and Garden, a summer retreat for the Royal Family. A number of optional tours are offered.

Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Upon arrival you’ll be met by your tour guide and transferred to your hotel located in the heart of the tourist area of, Bangkok, Thailand’s vibrant capital.
Overnight : Silom Serene
Day 2: A half day tour is scheduled to the Royal Grand Palace, a magnificent complex of temples, wats and spiritual monuments and home to the amazing 1/4 mile long Ramayana mural-a retelling a buddhist history. Walk through the dazzling Wat Phra Kaew with its revered Emerald Buddha, the golden stupa and the Pantheon of the Chakri kings. Lunch is included.

Day 3: Early Morning flight to Chiang Mai, Thailand’s 2nd largest city and gateway to Northern Thailand. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel. Rest of day at leisure. During the evening, you may want to take a stroll through Chiang Mai's famous night bazaar.

Day 5: Sometime after breakfast,you’ll be picked up for a highlights tour of Chiang Mai which will include stops at the large outdoor market and some of most important shrines and monuments.

Day 6: A full day of touring will commence after breakfast – first stop will be at nearby Doi Suthep Temple, a stunningly beautiful religious complex with panoramic views of the city. The temple is home to a very sacred Buddhist relic and the central stupa (spiritual monument) is considered to be the most spectacular structure in northern Thailand.
From there you’ll visit Bhubing Palace and Gardens, the Queen’s summer retreat; the garden here is famous for it’s many exotic cultivars of roses and a beautiful reservoir. The tour ends with a visit to a Hmong Village before returning back to your hotel in Chiang Mai

Day 7: Day at leisure. Suggested optional tour is an all day exclusion to Doi Inthanon national Park - includes a visit of the Royal Project, a government sponsored horticultural and agricultural research center, a leisurely nature hike trough the forest, a tour of the Royal Chedis and a stop at the summit of Doi Inthanon, the highest peak in Thailand at 8900 feet above sea level.
Price is $95 per person. Includes lunch.

Day 8: Today, you’ll be transferred to the Chiang Mai airport for a short flight to Bangkok. Upon arrival in Bangkok, you’ll be transferred to hotel. Sample some of Bangkok’s sizzling nightlife on your final night in the Land of Smiles.
