Rajasthan is where all the country's similes and metaphors appear to have come together. Sand dunes, wooded hills and amazing lakes, palaces and rugged forts, men and women in colorful turbans and skirts, bustling towns and quiet villages, camels, elephants and tigers, harsh sunlight and the cool evening breeze - are all there in abundance.
But they form only part of an intricate tapestry. Beneath the surface, expect to find many contradictions. Where ever you travel, particularly when you escape from the popular tourist destinations you will come across the unexpected, whether it is a local fair or breathtaking view.
The mood and the rhythm of the country side changes from one region to another, and from season to season. It is a land of surprises; it is a land of amazing natural beauty that can fascinate even the most seasoned traveler.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive Goa. Transfer to the airport to connect flight to Goa. Upon arrival, the guests will be met & transferred to the hotel.
Goa - It's 450 years under Portuguese domination produced a unique, syncretic blend of East and West. Rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight at hotel .
Day 2: Goa. Full day sightseeing our Goa - Visit Old Goa, the most important Cathedrals and churches - namely Se-Cathedral, Church of St. Francis Xavier, St. Catherine's Church, Arch of Vice Roy of Goa. Miramar Beach - This is the only beach close to any city and has a good view of the river Mandovi flowing into the sea. Also visit Dona Paula fishing village which is a small village at the tip of Panaji, the place has a very good viewpoint and a monument at the same place. Overnight at hotel
Day 3: Goa. Full day at leisure for own activities and to enjoy the facilities of the resort. Dinner & overnight at the hotel
Day 4: Goa - Delhi. Transfer to the airport for flight to Delhi. Reach Delhi and have lunch.
Day 5: Delhi. Take a trip down the memory lane of Delhi, with sprawling gardens and stately buildings.
Day 6: Agra. Visit Agra- The erstwhile capital of glorious Mughal dynasty that offers incomparable monuments Taj Mahal, Red Fort and other prestigious monuments.
Day 7: Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur. Drive to the 'Pink city' of Rajputs- Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri, which is known as the capital city of Emperor Akbar.
Day 8: Jaipur. Experience the glory of Amber Fort on an elephant back and later enjoy a sight seeing tour of the city that includes mirror inlayed palaces and courtyards.
Day 9: Jaipur - Delhi. Drive back to Delhi in the morning and have an overnight stay in the capital, adding up the last touches to your tour of the Golden Triangle.
Day 10: Delhi. Leave Delhi for an onward destination.
