Fulfill the dream of swimming with these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. Our ethos is one of respect and sensitivity with the dolphins and we introduce our guests to this experience with expert care and guidance.

We take people to beautiful places worldwide that are key locations for dolphins and whales. In the summer we go to the Azores. In the winter we go to La Gomera in the Canary Islands. (see Dancing with Dolphins). Our guests are welcomed into the company of people who have dedicated their lives to deepening human relationships with the dolphins and whales.

Accommodation: Our hotel has a unique and dramatic setting, perched on cliffs high above the Atlantic ocean. It is surrounded by forests and vineyards and has fabulous views of the spectacular volcano which is dormant. There is also a swimming pool and barbecue looking out to the ocean. Dolphins and whales can often be sighted from here.

The owners and staff are friendly and hospitable hosts and the hotel has a very good standard of comfort and amenities. The hotel has a reasonably priced, excellent restaurant serving superb international cuisine and can cater for vegetarians. There are a variety of styles of accommodation to choose from.

Our team love what they do with a passion. We offer a wealth of experience, expertise and sensitivity in how we introduce people to these playful and highly intelligent creatures in the wild. This provides our guests with the best opportunities to interact with them safely and appropriately.

The Islands: The Azores archipelago is situated in the Atlantic ocean 1000 miles west of Portugal. A Portuguese territory, the nine islands, dominated by a volcanic mountain range, offer a rare and unspoilt natural beauty, having retained their cultural integrity and escaped the ravages of commercial tourism. The Azores has an equable climate all year round. We have found the summer to be the best time for our trips. Temperatures range from a mild 16°C (60°F) in winter to a comfortable 26°C (79°F) in summer. The sea is warmed by the Gulf Stream. Sea temperatures in summer are 20-22°C.

The Dolphins: Group trips or private tailor made trips are available from May-October. The 10 days include 5 boat trips each of 3 hours duration. This provides plenty of opportunity for developing confidence in the water and lots of time with the dolphins. The dolphins are very curious, playful and sociable. However they are wild animals and we always respect their moods and behavior and let that determine when and how long we stay in the water with them. Sightings of sperm whales are common.

Accommodation: The accommodation included in the price is sharing a luxury private en-suite room. All accommodation options are subject to availability at time of booking.
