Wine education is at the heart of M08242. Our trips to the wine regions of Italy and Spain provide an enjoyable learning experience for wine enthusiasts of all types, from the casual imbiber to the serious connoisseur. Each of our week-long tours goes to a variety of top wine estates, housed in magnificent castles, restored abbeys, and rustic family farms. We talk to the wine producers and see how their wines are made, learn their history. And every evening we delve into local food and wine pairings at our sumptuous wine dinners.

But M08242 signifies much more. Our tours also weave in art, culture, and history. We’ll visit Medici fortresses, Etruscan ruins, fortified castles, Siena’s Renaissance painters, Romanesque cathedrals, and we go on culinary excursions, visiting local cheese and olive oil producers in countryside settings.

For those with energy to burn, we’ve designed some active tours, in which biking or hiking dominates the first part of the day. On our other trips, it’s culture and cuisine that precede the afternoon estate visits. Either way, we offer an authentic and intimate experience.
