Since leaving the worlds of publishing and academe in 1998, founder M05313 has turned his life-long fascination with the City into a profession. From entertaining overviews of the city to specialized tours of architecture, history, unique landmarks, and ethnic neighborhoods, we offer the New York experience in its many dimensions. We delight in creating custom tours and pursuing special interests, from the salty culture of Coney Island to the elegant mansions of Riverdale - and Manhattan, too!
Mr. Matthews is a graduate of Williams College, a licensed New York City tour guide, a member in good standing of the Guides Association of New York, the Municipal Art Society, and many other civic groups. He has lived for four decades in Brooklyn's historic row-house neighborhoods. He and his colleagues lead tours on foot, on bicycle, by car, limousine, van, or bus. We offer a premium, personal service, and set our fees accordingly. |
