M18729 facilitates travel, conservation and community development volunteer programmes in Southern and East Africa. We offer both long-stay placements and expeditions. Almost every traveller to this continent of paradoxes, of rich colours, of vibrant landscapes, of extraordinary sights and stirring sounds, departs with her mark on their hearts. If you have not yet left your footprints on Africa’s soils, or your thoughts in her skies, then we invite you to join this journey, to explore, to inspire and to impact. To be more than a tourist, to be a traveller, a humanitarian and a conservationist.
Our pride: We (M18729) are able to confidently offer a safe and supervised environment for travellers to encounter this remarkable continent. We are a family-run organisation with over 20 years of experience in African travel, and a proud record of safety and environmental awareness.
Our place: We (M18729) are based in Southern Africa and work in partnership with travellers and volunteers from around the world. Because we are one of the only volunteer organisations based "on the ground" in Africa, we assure you that every place you travel to is intimately understood and every programme you participate in supports a genuine cause - all funds generated from our volunteers remain within Africa for the benefit of these projects. As a company rooted in Africa, our strong local knowledge is invaluable in ensuring our clients' peace of mind.
Our passion for the people, environment and wildlife of this continent means that we will go out of our way to ensure that you make the most of your African adventure.
Our people: The M18729 team of office and field staff is made up of people with vast experience living, working and travelling in Africa. Whether working in administration, as tour guides or drivers, team members have an unparalleled passion and enthusiasm for their work. Many of our assistant field workers are past volunteers who came to Africa to work on projects and are yet to leave! M18729 also has a network of partners on the continent that enables us to offer diverse volunteer and travel opportunities across Africa. |
