Our company provides active holidays for those with an appreciation for Australia’s natural and cultural environments. We enjoy getting out into the bush to experience the natural beauty of Australia, and we facilitate exciting, inspirational and fun encounters, traveling in great company.
Our firm guides journeys along the coast, in the bush and in the Australian outback. We travel in small groups exploring out-of-the-way places on foot, by kayak and by rough terrain vehicle. Our trips are active but not exhausting. We get close to nature and enjoy great food and spectacular places.
Our trips are as much about celebrating humanity and diversity as they are about celebrating the fascinating and glorious world around us. In Australia we are privileged to be able to learn from, and share with, the Aboriginal people from the many countries that make up this great land. We also enjoy learning from and celebrating the cultural diversity of the group.
Our firm is a small business that is part of a larger community. A lot of women are involved, whether as technical experts, guides, or simply friends and supporters. Collectively we have a huge range of skills, attributes, experiences and perspectives. The company was established by Wendy Stuart. Wendy's previous life was in environmental planning and community-based environmental management (and bushwalking!).
Owner: Wendy Stuart.
Qualifications: Bachelor of Applied Science (conservation technology), flatwater kayak instructor, wilderness first aid.
Expertise: Wildlife ecology, group facilitation, outdoor recreation instruction, wilderness survival.
