Waisalima Beach Resort is a very remote and pristine beach resort located on one of Earth's largest unspoiled islands in the South Pacific.
With the resort itself being situated right next to the Great Astrolabe Reef, the third largest living organism on the planet, we have some of the best snorkelling and diving available anywhere.
Viti Water Sports, an independent dive operator based in Nadi, run our dive center and training facility and are crewed by international-class instructors who teach from the most novice to advanced PADI-certified dive courses.
There really is no better place to acquire your scuba certification than the Great Astrolabe Reef.
Our company is eco-friendly and almost completely self-sufficient producing our own fruits, vegetables, eggs and fish for dining excellence. A pure subterranean spring gravity feeds the entire resort providing ample water for drinking, washing, showers and irrigation for the gardens during all seasons.
Our absolute beach-front bures are cooled by coconut palms, providing romance and comfort. The bures are simple yet comfortable and are traditionally constructed using all local timbers, woven palm frond ceilings and walls.
Waisalima is solar-powered with gas hot water showers, laundry service and daily room service, fresh flowers and beach towels.
Each bure has its own individual theme and appeal for your pleasure and comfort. Hammocks are strung between the palms for plenty of relaxation.
Internet access is available to guests through solar-powered satellite broadband connection and a phone is also available to guests with Fiji or International calling cards.
Batteries and electrical equipment can be easily charged in the Grand Bure and the Coral Bar is fully licensed and well stocked.
