I have been a tour guide for about 23 years. I can do private tours for two passengers to regular tours for groups in bigger tour buses. I have tours that are already set, as well as custom made tours. You tell me what you want and I can arrange it.
PRIVATE TOURS - Many times you want to explore the port on your own, with my option you can hire the van.
If you want to see the City, I have different choices. We can do a half day tour or a full day tour. For those coming on cruise ships, I recommend that you take the all day tour because remember that you are here only for a day and you must get the most out of it.
HALF DAY MAZATLAN CITY TOUR - a great way to get the see Mazatlan, inside and out. on this tour, we visit El Cid residential area, site of a 27 hole golf course. we also go to the Cathedral and market downtown. we see the amazing cliff divers. on the way, we see many monuments and statues, as well as the shrimp market. we also go to old Mazatlan, where the beautiful Machado plaza is located and also the beautiful Angela Peralta Theater, built from 1869 to 1874. You will also see a great view of Mazatlan from the top of a hill and you will have some shopping time. an optional lunch can be done also.
CRUISE SHIP PASSENGERS I have another tour for those coming on cruise ships. You can do the regular city tour or do an all day tour. I recommend this tour more, because you are here for a day only and you might as well take advantage of the time you have. This all day tour gives you much more time on the different stops plus you can do extra stops, like for example a stop at sr. frogs or at a restaurant on the beach for some good seafood. You decide where you want to go. That is why this tour is much better.
CITY AND BEACH RESORT TOUR - This is a tour that I have been asked to do many times and finally, here it is. Take this wonderful tour of the city, where you see the highlights of Mazatlan first and then we go to one of the best resorts in Mazatlan, the hotel playa Mazatlan. Enjoy the grounds of this great hotel, a family resort with nice exclusive pools, the best beach and excellent food. Here you will enjoy the resort, they will rovide towels, changing facilities, a Mexican buffet lunch or a la carte and two non-alcohol drinks. So bring your bathing suits and enjoy your staying Mazatlan! Excellent for kids! Excellent for the whole family!
CITY AND BEACH TOUR - This is a great trip for families. we do all the different stops that we do on the city tour like, cliff divers, Cathedral and market, old Mazatlan with itīs Machado Plaza, El Cid residential area, Golden Zone and a spectacular view of the city from a hill. After this we go to a great beach and you will have time to stay there for a while and also have a great lunch (not included) if you like.
CITY AND SHOPPING TOUR - We do a delightful city tour in the morning with some excellent shops in the old Mazatlan and then you will have more time in the Golden Zone. I stop at some selected galleries and stores, but if you are interested in any shop in particular, I will take you there. You may also tell me what you are looking for in special and I will find it for you. Remember, I know the city and of course the shopping too, as I also have a wife! ha-ha.
I have read only good reviews about myself. I am concerned very much about making the people I take on the tours happy, because the happier people are, the more they will talk about me and that is how I get recommended. I hope that I can meet you also!
