Immediate communication in Spanish is the goal of the course. The method stresses the development of speaking skills and listening comprehension through controlled oral practice. Vocabulary is related to the areas of activity of daily life. Grammar explanations are simple and practical, allowing the student to make immediate use of them in speaking. Rules are used actively: through exposure and practice, the correct forms begin to sound right to the student's ear.
Argentine Tango is becoming a rage again. In cities all over the world ordinary people are drawn to the mystery, the sweet melancholy, the sensual pleasure and social satisfaction it gives. Tango is not just a dance. It is Argentine soul music, music of the very soul of a very complex country.
Faculty Information:
Our members of staff have received their degrees from reputable programs in top universities in Argentina. We have 15 Spanish teachers with many years of cumulative teaching experience. It is important to note that many of these teachers have been with our organization for over 5 years participating in the development and advancement of our curriculum and program.
8 of our staff have completed advanced degrees ranging from Masters in Spanish Literature to Masters in Spanish as a Second Language. Many of these advanced degrees addressed the latest research in language development.
Our instructors undergo annual reviews. These reviews are based upon criteria collaboratively established by teachers and administrative staff alike. The Director of Studies administers the performance evaluations via a one on one interview with teacher.
Other Activities:
Our school offers to its students a wide array of activities to supplement and reinforce their language experience in Argentina. For a nominal fee students may attend or participate in sports events visit places of interest, as well as weekend trips.
