This intensive course consists of the standard 20 group lesson hours per week, from 09:00 until 13:30, and then in the afternoon it offers 4 hours per week (2 sessions of 2 hours) of lessons on a conversation or cultural theme. It lasts for a minimum of 1week and is ideal for those students who wish to combine their studies of the language with Italian culture classes. Students may attend the cultural classes 2 afternoons a week from 15:00 until 17:00.
As well as being included in this (G1) course, these classes are available to students enrolled on other courses, upon payment of a supplement. Each month various cultural subjects are offered and the courses take place if there are a minimum of 5 students for each subject. The choice of course available to each student also depends on his or her linguistic level.

The most important thing in any school if you wish to learn Italian is your Italian teacher. Our teacher team is especially motivated, highly qualified with a University degree and will take care on you. In class you should learn as rapid and as easy as possible, but you also should enjoy your classes. That is why our teachers are experienced but still have a lot of energy and motivation to make learning fun.
All our teachers are native speakers who, in most cases, have a working knowledge of other languages. The staff at our Language School does everything in their power to care for the students and ensure that everyone has highly enjoyable and unforgettable Italian experience.
Other Activities:
Every month the Committee organizes social and cultural activities, such as Italian film-shows, lectures and talks on various aspects of Sienese and Italian culture (for example, the history of Siena and the Palio, Italian Opera, music, politics, fashion etc.), excursions to places of relevant cultural interest and guided tours of Siena.
The following is a typical example of our social program (normally for four weeks – this is a short version!). Monthly calendar of wide range of extra-curricular activities, including excursions through Siena and Tuscany, wine and cheese tasting, films, lectures, concerts, bike riding, parties, dinners, etc.
