Our Language Learning Centre is a leading language school in Hong Kong which specializes in Cantonese and Mandarin Learning programs in conversation and Chinese Reading and Writing for expatriates, locals and overseas Chinese. Private Learning Programs catering to special needs are also available at times to suit every student of all ages.

- Snow ball learning approach: our Center has created a special snow-ball building learning program. Through repetition and revision, you can manage the language easily and never forget what you have learned. You will start from very simple and easy vocabulary and sentence patterns and will be guided to construct your own conversation. You are guided to speak, to think and to conduct yourself in a Chinese environment!
In order to ensure your simple and systematic learning, staff and language experts at our Center have spent years of research to gear lessons to students' levels and needs. What's more, HKLLC constantly updates teaching materials to accommodate the ever-changing language environment. Most expatriates say Chinese is one of the most difficult languages in the world. But believe it or not, when you have the right weapon and you are really serious about learning the language, it is really a "piece of cake".
The class is divided into three sessions:
* Teaching hour:
- Learning new vocabulary, expressions and sentence patterns through vocabulary and sentence pattern drills.
- Introducing conversation for new situations by using the learnt vocabulary and sentence patterns.
- Revising what students have learnt.
* Conversation hour:
- Only Cantonese / Mandarin will be used in this session.
- Using the vocabulary and sentence patterns and expressions from previous lessons, guide students to create their own conversation.
* Listening hour:
- To consolidate and reinforce what students have learnt by using the language lab with pronunciation drills, vocabulary drills, sentence pattern drills and comprehension drills.
* Courses provided:
- Cantonese and Mandarin for Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced Levels.
- For conversation as well as for reading and writing.
- For expatriates, locals and overseas Chinese.
- For business and for pleasure.
- Special language programs for overseas Chinese to learn Chinese Reading and Writing.
Private learning Programs catering to special needs are also available at times arranged to suit every student. Classes are small with a strict maximum of 7 to a class, average 5. This ensures that each student receives the maximum of individual attention. The minimum age for regular courses is sixteen. We also have children's programs for private arrangement. There are 10-minute breaks between each session. During the breaks, students can feel free to serve themselves drinks, or have a leisurely conversation with the staff in Cantonese / Mandarin to test what they have learnt.

Students are guided to speak, to think and conduct themselves in a Chinese environment.
* Accommodation: Our Language Learning Center is more than willing to provide information on local hotels / guest houses. There are lots of hotels within 5 minutes walk from the school. Our Learning Center can provide information only. Students should take full responsibility for their accommodation. Homestay can be arranged at the local Chinese family.
The host family will be native Cantonese or Mandarin speakers according to students' needs. Most of the host family is located near our Language Learning Center. Public transportation is available, time-travel 20 to 40 minutes. Washing machine provided, students may also go to nearby laundry shops. Please do not invite friends to stay overnight and no smoking please! The host family will provide breakfast and dinner. Lunch costs approximately HK$30 - 75 / day.
Faculty Information:
We have more than 50 Cantonese and Mandarin teachers who bring years of experience into the job. All are native speakers, either born in Hong Kong or Guangdong in the cases of the Cantonese teachers and from Beijing or the Northern Part of China in the case of the Mandarin teachers. Our teachers are mostly university graduates with a wealth of practical and academic experience. They using the latest teaching methods and media. We have our own teaching material.
All of our material is written by the Center's own staff on the basis of their long experience in using methods with best results. Our Working Team is more than willing to help you in learning the language as well as give you some tips about how to adapt to life in Hong Kong. Should you have any difficulties in your language learning or daily life, please feel free to talk to any of our staff.
Other Activities:
We have organized different types of activities such as hiking, day trip to some of the outlying islands, shopping trip to Shenzhen, voluntary services for hospital, charity booth and so on.
Facility Information:
Our Language Learning Center is spacious with 3000 sqf. of classrooms + offices. There are ten classrooms which cater to small groups. A language laboratory equipped with audio and visual aids to facilitate language training. The language laboratory can be booked by students. Coffee corner and student gathering space are provided for a relaxed atmosphere.
During breaks, you can feel free to serve yourself drinks or have a leisurely conversation with the staff in Cantonese / Mandarin to test what you have learnt. Our staff are more than willing to help you to learn the language or to give you some tips about how to adapt to life in Hong Kong.
