Intensive English Courses are taught everyday at our homestay by certified ESL instructors who have many years of experience. Some of our instructors are bilingual and understand the complexities of cultural transition during your language acquisition. Depending on the program you choose, we offer courses as short as two weeks, three weeks, and four weeks. Unlike typical schools, Homestay California offers more than just language programs. We offer lots of activities that are fun and exciting. At Ika's Homestay California, you will experience American real life.

We will introduce you to real people, give you tours of local businesses, invite you to attend events, visit people's homes, and help you achieve your dreams. Ika Purcell, TESL graduate, Oxford Certified. College instructor for 2 years, and ESL instructor at homestay since 1987.
Liz Curtis, Multi Lingual instructor for 30 years, she teaches English as a second Language, Spanish as a Second Language, and French as a Second Language.

Visit American homes, Native American historic sites, San Francisco City Tours, Sacramento city tours, snow trip, visit the Wine Country, visit the Gold Country, Lake Tahoe, small towns, museums, colleges, universities, festivals, celebrations, potluck, boating, water ski, snow ski, cooking, American table manners, volunteer, American work ethics.
