New York Photo Safari is conducting a Spring photo safari adventure in New York City . All levels of photographic skills are welcome from beginner to advanced amateur. All students can bring their choice of camera gear : point n shoot, 35mm film camera, digital point and shoot, 35mm DSLR ( Nikon, Canon, etc.) We will be shooting New York City in the spring: Subjects covered are landscapes & urban photography, street photography, people, architecture, interiors. We will start with an orientation at the Metropolitan Museum.We will teach you the basics of photography - lighting,exposure, and composition and tips for shooting in a big metropolitan city...Bring good walking shoes, sunstop, and water.Areas we will cover: Central Park,Metropolitan Museum, Brooklyn, Times Square.This is a 6 hour tour from 2pm to 8pm
Cost of tour is $ 240 ( includes dinner ).$ 350 for a couple
Faculty Information:
New York Photo Safari is taught by Brooklyn resident Elle Gamboa, a seasoned freelance professional travel/fashion photographer as well as guest photo instructors from ASMP and APA photo associations.
Other Activities:
Our New York Digital and Film Photo workshops includes trip to various photo galleries and exhibition ( ICP - International Center of Photography ), Brooklyn Gardens, The Cloisters, Central Park, Times Square, the Village, Brooklyn Village, Statute of Liberty,etc. Please be prepared for a lot of walking and rides on the New York Subway. Bring water , sun stop, and good walking shoes for winter.
Facility Information:
New York Photo Safari is conducted both on location and in private locations in and around the 5 boroughs of New York ( Manhattan, Queens,Harlem, etc.).Travel photography workshops are conducted around
Central Park, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Brooklyn Gardens, Statue of Liberty- Staten Island )
Notes:
Photo workshop fees must be paid in advance by check/MO. This guarantees
your spot in the photo workshop. If you have to cancel for any reason,
there is a 5 day cancellation clause. Or you can book your spot by credit
