In our Total Immersion Program students join our Group 4 Spanish Course and live with a local host family during their entire Spanish Program.
Living with a local family in Panama while you learn Spanish will put you in a privileged and unique position to practice Spanish outside of the classroom. Put yourself in the best place to learn Spanish within a natural and authentic environment by joining our Total Immersion Program. Once you step through your family's door you will practice your Spanish in a relaxed and authentic environment. Being able to listen and speak Spanish even when you are not in your Spanish lessons is definitively a plus and something you should seriously consider if you want to learn Spanish as fast as possible and in its most natural form.
Group 4 is the most popular Spanish course offered at Habla Ya Panama Spanish School compromised of 20 hours of group Spanish classes per week with the option of taking additional private Spanish classes. Students have four hours of group Spanish classes each day either in the morning or afternoon.
There is a maximum of 4 students per group, although the average number of students per classroom is usually between 2 and 3. As groups are small students always receive the personalized attention required to learn Spanish. Groups are arranged according to students Spanish levels ensuring that classmates will have a similar degreee of communicative proficiency. If students know some Spanish, even a small amount, we ask them to fill out an Online Placement Test before starting their language course.
Faculty Information:
Teachers are the single most important aspect to consider when choosing a Spanish school in Latin America. Without excellent teachers it is very difficult to learn Spanish and to really learn it fast. If you really want to learn Spanish choose our Spanish school in Panama because it has capable, trained, enthusiastic and experienced Spanish teachers and all of them have Spanish related college degrees.

- Free Movie Nights: each Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. we watch a good Spanish spoken or subtitled movie.
- Free Conversational Sessions: every Saturday at 11:00 a.m. you can practice your Spanish in a relaxed and controlled environment to feel more confident.
- Eco-Adventure Tours: zip line canopy tour, river rafting, coffee tour, Quetzal Trail, Barú Volcano hike.
- Free Latin Dance Lessons (Salsa and Merengue): on Saturdays at 9:00 a.m. we put on our dancing shoes and practice our moves before hitting the clubs.
- Get-Togethers: during the weekends we have sport matches, parties, volunteer projects, we pay a visit to one of Boquete's bars or restaurants, we share some drinks, we play poker or we just hang out... join us!
Facility Information:
Our Spanish school is located in the heart of Boquete, close to everything. We are conveniently within walking distance to Boquete's best restaurants, bars, shops and hotels. Our building is on the first floor of Boquete's newest commercial square. Not only do we have modern and comfortable classrooms but our school you will also encounter a nice cafeteria and TV-chill out area. All our Spanish school's ground is covered with a Wi-Fi Internet connection that our students can use free of charge.
Notes:
This program can last between 1 and 24 weeks. The cost for the family home stay is $15 per day and includes breakfast and dinner. The cost for each week of 20 hours of group lessons goes between $170 and $225 per week depending on the amount of weeks you sign up for. Each home stay has a $25 setup fee.
