You will travel from Florence to Bolgheri. There, meet your local guide. This wine expert will introduce the history and wines of Maremma. Visit one of the most prestigious local wineries, and taste their wines. Lunch on your own in the small village of Bolgheri or the nearby hilltop town of Castagneto Carducci. In the afternoon, visit another winery, a family-run operation that produces award-winning wines, where the owners will treat you to a tasting. Visit a local olive oil mill to sample their excellent extra virgin olive oil. We suggest you start this tour at 8:00 am during Spring or Summer and at 8:30 am in the Fall or Winter. This is a 10 hours tour with an expert guide.
