For an authentic slice of London life, a trip to one of London’s unique markets is a must. With over forty markets to choose from, each with their character, we have cherry picked three of the best.
The Market Fresh private walking tour is for visitors keen to embrace the full cultural richness that makes London so special.
We start our morning in Brixton Market, South London; a cacophony of sights smells music and stalls which has changed little over the years. Much of Brixton's unique character comes from the local community: young professionals; multi-ethnic Londoners; and the occasional visitor.
From here we head to Borough Market; a must for all food fans. Firmly established as one of London’s premiere sources of good quality fresh produce, here you’ll meet farmers from across the UK. Sample the food and talk to stall holders and meander through this charming market.
We finish our tour in one of London’s best kept secrets: Exmouth Market. Situated just north of central London the area is a haven for style-conscious, melding character and charm with off-beat boutiques.
We move between each stop via London’s underground train system for which guests will need to buy a one day travel card (£5).
