Full Day Whitewater Raft:
Description: Enjoy the day on the Middle Fork of the Flathead River along the southwestern boundary of Glacier National Park. You will be going in a paddle boat partaking in the action by following the guide's simple commands. You'll be floating a more remote stretch of the river in the morning and around mid day the guide will select a secluded spot for setting up the buffet style lunch. In the afternoon you will be going through John Stevens Canyon where the rapids are rated class II and III. This is a fun and splashy adventure so be sure to wear clothes you won't mind getting wet. Wetsuits are available at no extra cost. Please call our toll free number to make a reservation.
Meeting Notes: This trip departs at 10 AM. Please check into our office 15 minutes prior to departure. We are located 1.5 miles west of West Glacier on Highway 2.
1 Day Hike/Raft:
Description: Can't decide if you want to go hiking or rafting with us? Do both! On our full day hike/raft combos, first we'll hit the trail for 6 miles of hiking along the Boundary Trail, paralleling the Middle Fork of the Flathead River. The trail takes us through a beautiful, diverse forest and we get occasional views of peaks in the distance. We'll stop from time to time to enjoy views of the rapids from above, pick a huckleberry or two and learn about the local wildflowers. After a scrumptious trail lunch, we'll rendezvous with the rafts at Lincoln Creek changing our hiking shoes for lifejackets. Next we'll enjoy the waves of the river from a more intimate setting as we paddle our way through fun, splashy, Class III rapids. View the hiking section of our website for info on our extended 5, 6, and 8 day hike/raft combo trips.
Meeting Notes: Meets at our office at 9 AM. We are located 1.5 miles west of West Glacier on Highway 2.
