Backcountry Guide Outfitter Adventures operates hunts in our 900 square mile exclusive hunting territory of remote Canadian wilderness. We boast one of the highest densities of moose and bear populations in British Columbia.
There are few areas that offer large tracts of wild country abundant with game and offers truly authentic Elk hunts from our comfortable fully-equipped base camp or from one of our remote waterfront cabin camps. Whether hunting single or multi-species combination hunts you'll agree this is a "Class A" outfit giving 110% dedicated to your total success!
2003 was the first year the wildlife branch opened our area for Bull Elk 6 point or larger .59 confirmed bulls were taken by locals all 6 point or larger with one 8x9. Many bulls scored over 350 points! These Elk are heavy horned with dark, thick antlers. Many have non-typical traits with extra points.
We are only taking a limited amount of hunters for the trophy elk hunt. This hunt takes place in rifle season in prime Rut. This can be a single species hunt or add this to your Moose and Bear hunt. We expect this to be one of the most exciting hunts of the year.
We provide all meals, accommodations, transportation and field care of your meat and trophies. We can arrange for pick up at Prince George Airport or provide a detailed map in the event you are driving. Upon booking your hunt we will email you our information kit. You need to arrive after 12:00 pm on the start date to settle in, confirm your rifle is on, have dinner and meet your guide and the crew to plan your hunt.
