Although this hunt is primarily for Stone Sheep, other animals may be harvested providing the hunter has a species license for the animal(s) and the season is open. Each animal additional to the Stone Sheep will incur a fee payable in either cash, cashiers or travelers check. If the animal is not taken, the fee will be refunded. Combination sheep hunts are available with pricing dependent upon species hunted.
Most of our rams are harvested at elevations below 6000’. Timberline is approximately 5000’. On rare occasions we will hunt sheep at elevations of up to 8000’. Our success rate averages 90%.
The Fish and Wildlife Branch have created a quota system on all Stone sheep. Because of this our sheep hunts are booked on a first come, first serve basis. Hunters who are too late may have their advance payment returned or held over for the next season.
Stone Sheep Hunts: The fee of $22,500.00 entitles you to hunt Stone Sheep, Black Bear and Wolf. All rams harvested must be 8 years of age or older. Advance partial payment to hold a date is $11,250.00. The final balance owing of $11,250.00 plus taxes may be paid by personal or company check and is due and payable on or before July 1st the year of your hunt. Additional animals may be taken on this hunt for the listed additional harvest fee, providing they are in season and the hunter has a species license for that animal.
Sheep Combination Hunts: The fee of $27,500.00 entitles you to hunt Stone Sheep, Elk, Moose, Caribou, Black Bear and Wolf. Advance partial payment to hold a date is $13,750.00. The final balance owing of $13,750.00 plus taxes may also be paid by check and is due and payable on or before July 1st the year of your hunt.
Add-ons: Fees for additions to your hunt package such as adding extra days, harvesting species not included in your hunt package or bringing non-hunting guests.
Notes:
Extra days: May be added to your hunt package for an additional $500.00 per day with a minimum extension of four days.
Non-hunting guests: Non-hunting guests who wish to accompany the hunter are welcome on all hunts. The non-hunting rate is $300.00 per day.
