Enjoy a perfectly exquisite weekend getaway at beautiful St. Augustine (near Jacksonville, FL) on a 39' pristine air-conditioned sailing yacht. Capt. Don Shapray, master sailing instructor, will be your host for a memorable and informative weekend of fun, sun and therapeutic ocean breezes, while you experience the magic of ocean sailing. Southern Sailing Academy offers three different vacation packages for those who wish to enjoy the good life.
We have four weekend packages from which you can choose:
Package 1: Enjoy the many amenities of St. Augustine including golf (World Gold Village), water skiing, horseback riding or just relax in old southern comfort at the fabulous St. Augustine Ocean & Beach Club or one of many hotels, resorts or local bed and breakfast inns (Hotel not included); contact us for other arrangements if needed. Then enjoy a romantic starlight wine and cheese cruise Saturday night, returning at midnight.
Package 2: The same as Package 1 with the addition of open ocean sailing lessons on Saturday and Sunday. Learn from some of the most experienced sailing instructors on the East Coast.
Package 3: Weekend Starlight cruise from St. Augustine to Daytona and back. A perfect opportunity for a couple to renew their vows in a wonderful romantic setting aboard one of our yachts. All meals, snacks and beverages are included.
Package 4: Individualized Weekend. We are able to tailor our instruction to your individual needs, and work on your deficiencies, whether racing or cruising. Individual lessons are available for 2-6 days (for a minimum of 6 hours/day) and we also can provide Sailing certification for your accomplishments.
Notes:
Package 1 - Only $299 per couple(bring another couple for 1/2 price);
Package 2 - Only $696 per couple (based on $29*/hour, 6 hours a day for 2 days) *50% surcharge for single;
Package 3 - Only $750 per couple;
Package 4 - Only $35 per person per hour plus $99 per Sailing Certification.
