Few people know that the world’s largest wild boars, with weight up to 450 kg, live in the Extreme East of Russia, in the Ussuri taiga near Vladivostok. Its tusks easily exceed 30 cm. The hunt is done by waiting in the first week of August, on cultivations, or in small driven hunts organized on the snow in the taiga, from November through February. In one week of hunting one can shoot one, maximum two large wild boars (Siberian roe deer can be also hunted at the same period) or in driven hunts and by following tracks in the snow. In the same period Maral and Sika deers can be encountered. Accommodation is in local hunting houses with services.
