Moose in Alaska are huge beasts that are as comfortable crossing a river as they are climbing a mountain. They can be found in the deep recesses of a dank swamp just as readily as they can be seen on the side of an alder-filled hillside. A large bull moose can weigh over 1,200 pounds and sport a set of antlers that are about 10% of that gross weight. These are the moose you are looking for.
