December brings good hunting with Beagles on Snowshoe (or Varying) Hare; and we have winter seasons on Red Fox, Raccoon and Coyote.
Combination late season hunts will include geese, sea ducks and snowshoe hare. No Sunday hunting.
November/December hunting is cold weather hunting. Bring thermal suits and jackets. Wear long underwear and wool socks with boots guaranteed for below zero warmth.
Hunter's orange is not mandatory in the woodlands of Prince Edward Island, but we recommend wearing an orange hat or vest while hunting grouse, woodcock, snowshoe hare, foxes and coyotes, as an added safety measure.
We can arrange accommodation for you in motels and hotels less than thirty miles from the goose fields; or you can stay with Blue Heron Hideaways as part of a package deal.
Blue Heron Hideaways offers complete accommodations at the Beach House; on the Gulfshore, one half hour from the goose fields; twelve rooms, each with king, queen or double beds; jacuzzi; living room with double fireplace, full breakfast, thermos and lunch for the field, and three course dinner.

A deposit of 50 percent of your booking confirms your reservation.
Non-hunting spouse fee of $50/day covers occupancy in room (king or queen size bed) with partner, and all meals.
