All of our guides have spent many years climbing and guiding in the Eastern Sierra Nevada and Joshua Tree National Park, hence all of our guides know these areas intimately and care greatly for them. From guiding multi-pitch routes to introductory top rope instruction, our guides look forward to sharing their knowledge, experience and expertise with you.
Rock Climb in Spain’s famed El Chorro - Paraje Natural. Set in the foothills of southern Spain’s Andalucia, El Chorro is an enchanted area with boundless limestone crags and walls. The non-crowded and world-class limestone climbing of El Chorro is truly a treasure among international destination climbing areas. We have climbed in quite a few world class rock climbing areas over the past 10 years and still hold El-Chorro very high on our list of places to visit. We will climb by day, then adjourn to the relaxing, beautiful, comfortable, cozy and well appointed Finca La Capana Inn (owned by friendly local climber Juan and his wife Christine).
On your rest days you may choose from many options, mountain biking, take a dip in the pool, sunbathe around the lovely Spanish tiled poolside or perhaps go on a hiking adventure through the El Chorro River Gorge on the fabled "Kings Highway", (an old stone and cable walkway that snakes its way up the spectacular El Chorro River Gorge, very exciting "technical hiking"!). With tons of amazing climbing, spectacular scenery, world class rock climbing guides, hospitable friendly locals and plenty of fantastic Spanish food and drink; this trip is a unique and remarkable way to experience Spain.
