Our company is run by Hilary Sharp who is a qualified Trekking Guide (European qualification which is a legal requirement). Hilary guides all the treks and holidays that are on non-glaciated terrain. Glacier treks, climbing and skiing trips are guided by her husband Jon de Montjoye. Hilary and Jon are both British and have lived in the French Alps since 1990.
We offer treks and hiking holidays in the Alps, the Dolomites, the Pyrenees, Corsica, Spain, Southern France, Mallorca in summer and spring. In the winter we offer snowshoeing holidays. These can be treks or holidays but always involve at least one overnight in the mountains. Snowshoeing can be done at all levels but we tend to try to get up high into the mountains, away from the ski areas, to the summits where the views are superb.
Hilary and Jon can be hired for private guiding by groups or individuals for a day or a week or more both winter and summer. Jon offers rock climbing and ski touring as well as glaciated treks. Our company is very small and so you get personal service. Our clients can email us and ask questions about the trip they are planning and they know we will be able to answer their questions.
Our groups are small and we very rarely have to cancel a trip as our trips will go with a minimum of 2 bookings. The advantage of smaller groups (max 10) are that the group is more manageable and friendly and the Guide can speak to everyone.
Also a smaller group is more efficient and has less impact in the mountains. Some of our treks could not be envisaged with larger groups and certainly the winter snowshoeing groups are generally kept to max 6 - 8 people.
Being permanently resident in the Alps Hilary and Jon are very knowledgeable about the region and also are up to date on current conditions which is crucial, especially in the winter.
Our clientèle is very international with a majority of English speakers. Many people come from Britain and America. We have a very high rate of return bookings.

We offer custom made trips and organized holidays and treks. A one day guided hike costs on the Guide's daily rate.
Trip costs include accommodation, guiding, planned transport during the trek, snowshoe equipment where relevant.
Travel to the start point is not included.
