We offer 5-day or more fishing pack trips in Montana specifically for anglers desiring to access remote mountain lakes and streams.
We operate our fishing and horseback pack trips out of wilderness base camps, venturing out in a different direction from camp each day to fish and returning to the same location each evening. The advantages of a base camp include dry, warm accommodations and a good night's sleep on soft beds after a full day full of activity. We pride ourselves in providing top quality meals and “luxury” amenities in such a true backcountry setting.
In order to access the Bob Marshall Wilderness, it takes a day of riding up and back, so in a typical 5-day trip anglers get 3 full days of fishing in between. Each day we’ll ride to a different location to fish. We can go for longer periods, drop camp or create customized trips. Additionally, many guests combine our fishing float trips before and after their backcountry pack trip to get the full fishing experience.
Our summer pack trip season runs every week beginning in the last week of June through September 15. The standard 5-day trip begins on a Monday and ends on a Friday. Weekend trips begin on a Friday and end on a Sunday. Customized trips and drop camps are scheduled based on availability of stock and personnel.

6-Day Pack Fishing Trip: $2,100 per person
Drop Camp Services: $175 per pack animal plus $200 per wrangler used per day.
