The Sandy River is one of Oregon's best kept secrets. This beautiful river offer year-round runs of fresh Steelhead, both winter and summer fish. We take you on the lower Sandy River in our McKenzie style drift boats. This enables you to flyfish all of the productive canyon water effectively.
The Sandy River, due to water levels in the lower portion, is fished between November and early June. Sandy River Steelhead average between 7-11 pounds with opportunities for you to catch fish that weigh into the twenties. Chinook and Coho Salmon are also available in season. The Sandy River system is truly a world-class Steelhead experience.
