Kamchatka Moses are worldwide famous also as Kamchatka Bears. This Moose is a subspecies of the East Siberian Moose (Alces alces pfizenmayeri). These Moses habit in the north of Kamchatka peninsula in the Pengina river area practically on the border with Tchukotka. The weight of trophy horns reaches 25-40 kg, and in width the horns are 150 – 170 cm. Classic combination “Giant Moose + Bear” is also possible.

Hunting methods – by stalking, by driving, with dogs. Moving on the hunt is on the boats and on foot.

Hunt is conducting in the most convenience time – during matting period in September – October. The temperature in autumn is from – 10C up to +10C. Warm waterproof clothes, high marshy boots and slipping bag are necessary for the hunt.

Hunting area: Penginskiy and Olyuturskiy areas of Kamchatka vicinity.

Accommodation: Hotel, hunting lodges, heated tents

Transfer: 9-hours flight Moscow – Petropavlovsk-Kamchatski or direct flight from Anchorage to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatski, then 2,5 hours by small plane and then 2,5 hours by helicopter to the hunting area. Our English-speaking manager will accompany you and help in airport.

Arrangement: We provide round trip on helicopter to the hunting area, all transfers in hunting area, accommodation with meals, field preparation of the trophies, 1 trophy of Giant Moose independently on its sizes. There are guides, cook, interpreter and camp staff in the camp.
