Kamchatka Bighorn (Ovis nivicola nivicola) is the biggest and most desirable among the species of Snow Sheep. The length of the horns of this Sheep is from 90 to 105 cm.

Hunt for Snow Sheep is not as extremely difficult as for example hunt for mountain goats high in the mountains. But due to the difficult landscape and northern vegetation it is nevertheless a very tense hunt, and it requires hardiness and good physician form. The hunt conducts by stalking from the fly-camps. The main period of hunt is in August and in September. There are guides, cook, and interpreter and camp staff in the camp. The rare hunting adventure in the really wild area, a very interesting hunt by stalking, very big and extraordinary trophies – all this put the hunt for Snow Sheep to the most attractive hunts in Russia.

Hunting area: Elizovskiy, Essovskiy, Tigilskiy, Palanskiy and Olyutorskiy regions of Kamchatka peninsula.

Transfer: 9-hours flight Moscow – Petropavlovsk - Kamchatski or direct flight from Anchorage to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatski, then to the south of Kamchatka – 1 -1,5 hours by helicopter or 7 - 8 hours by bus and after this 1 hour by helicopter; to the north of Kamchatka - 2,5 hours by small domestic plane from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatski and then 1 hour by helicopter to the hunting area.

Arrangement of the hunt for Bighorn: We provide round trip on helicopter to the hunting area, all transfers in hunting area, accommodation with meals, field preparation of the trophies, 1 trophy of Snow Sheep independently on its sizes. Our English-speaking manager will accompany with you and help in airport.
