| Housed in the former KGB headquarters, Vilnius' Museum of Genocide Victims is often colloquially known as "the KGB Museum." However, until 1990 the building - originally constructed as the District Court - had been the centre of various regimes' attempts to cajole, browbeat and torture the Lithuanian peoples, whether by their Russian, Polish, Nazi or Soviet oppressors. |
