| Gunung Palung National Park lies in the southern portion of the province of West Kalimantan, Indonesia, not far from the kabupaten city of Ketapang. The park is notable for its diversity of ecological zones, ranging from low-lying swampland to old-growth forests to mountains, and its diversity of wildlife. It is one of only a handful of locations in the world where orangutans continue to live in the wild. |
