| Once barren and treeless after being timbered to make charcoal, French Creek State Park, in southeastern Pennsylvania, has been restored to 7,400 acres of wooded bliss. There's fishing in two lakes and the park is known for having some of the best bike trails in the area. Visitors can settle down at one of the 201 wooded camp sites or in one of the 10 cabins. Hike the six-mile Boone Trail loop and see most of French Creek's major attractions. |
