| Alaska Zoo is a nonprofit zoological park that provides a home to orphaned, abandoned, injured, and endangered animals – mostly from Alaska. The zoo is proud to provide a home for: Polar Bears, brown, black, and glacier bears; lynx, snow leopards, and Siberian tigers, wolverine, fox, coyote, and wolves; Birds including the majestic bald eagle, snowy owl, great horned owl, goshawk, and red-tailed hawk, Stellar’s Jay; musk oxen, Bactrian camel, and Tibetan Yak; Dall sheep, caribou, Sitka black tailed deer, an African elephant, and many other species. The 20-acre park includes local and exotic flora. |
