Visit a resident wild wolf pack, bald eagle nests, barrens grizzly, musk-oxen, moose, and incredible tundra / esker scenery. Includes all air charter transportation, meals, accommodations.
Your Itinerary
Day 1:
We will meet all clients at the airport on arrival (usually the evening prior), and transport them to the floatplane base at the assigned departure time.to then board charter aircraft for 2 hour / 250 mile floatplane flight to the tundra wildlife camp. Accommoation assignment ( 2-3 persons per tent unit), followed by lunch served at the main gathering room. Afternoon meeting and briefing with the trip leaders on-site, and then out onto the esker for an introduction interpretive. After dinner, wolf watching commences in groups of four persons.

Day 2:
Daily programmes are dictated by weather wildlife movements, and the interests of the clients themselves. A choice of activities are always offered each day that include wolf watching, lake crusing, exploring and hiking, viewing raptor nests, visiting historical & archeological sites, and world-class fishing. Evening programs offered for wolves viewing, and occassionally there will be a evening slide show presentation. Throughout the entire trip, aircraft will be performing air recon to locate the southbound migration of the caribou herd. Once located, participants are flown to a spike camp to see and photogragh this last great wildlife phenomona since the bygone days of the buffalo!

Day 3:

On the final morning, we will have a farewell briefing, and then pack up and prepare to board the charter flight back to civilization.
