Tour of the ancient cities of Sri Lanka with a recorded history of over 2500 years. The 400ft Dagabas as tall as the pyramids and the remains of ruined cities, large man made lakes of a great highly advanced civilization older than the recorded history at Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa. The world famous Sigiriya Rock fortress, the scenic Hill Capital and finally rest at a beautiful palm fringed beach resort.
Your Itinerary
Day 1: Reception on arrival at the Air Port and Transfer to Hotel in Colombo. (D).
Day 2: After breakfast departure to Kandy the hill capital of Sri lanka. On route visiting the Elephant orphanage, Peradeniya Botanical Gardens and the scenic university campus. Visit the Temple of the Tooth of Load Buddha and a Cultural show. Overnight at Kandy. (B/D).
Day 3: Proceed to Nuwara Eliya, the highest mountain city for lunch on route visiting a tea factory. The British architecture and this city has fascinated all visitors. Visit the Hakgala Botanical Gardens. Dinner and overnight at Nuwara Eliya. (B/D).
Day 4: After b’fast proceed to Horton Planes wild life sanctuary by Jeep. Trek to Worlds End Through the mountain forest. Return to Nuwara Eliya for overnight. (B/D).
Day 5: After b’fast proceed to Katharagama en route visiting the Rawana Ella Waterfalls. Overnight at Katharagama/Yala village. (B/D).
Day 6: Early morning at 5.30 am proceed by special jeep to The Yala wild life sanctuary for a wild life safari. Picnic b’fast will be arranged by the hotel. After safari return to hotel for refreshments and proceed to Beruwela beach resort. Overnight at Beruwela beach resort. (B/D).
Day 7: At leisure at Beruwela beach resort. (B/D).
Day 8: Departure transfer to Air Port. (B).
