Tour begins in Salmon, Idaho with a short bus ride to Corn Creek. Corn Creek is the end of the road. We then spend the next 4 days and 3 nights rafting the totally roadless Main Salmon River through the heart of the "River of No Return Wilderness". Guests have the option of riding in an oar boat, (where the guide does all the work), participating in a paddle raft or for the most excitement, paddling their own inflatable kayak. On the 4th day we arrive at a wilderness ranch on the banks of the Main Salmon where our fleet of backcountry airplanes stand ready to whisk the guests back to Salmon, Idaho. Round trip transportation options are also available from Boise, Idaho.
Your Itinerary
Day 1: Group meets at the Salmon, Idaho Airport at 8:00 a.m. The group then takes a short bus ride from the Salmon, Idaho Airport to roads end at Corn Creek After a riverside orientation, the group launches on the river. The rest of the day is spent rafting and exploring the spectacular Main Salmon River canyon. Late afternoon the group arrives at their campsite. A couple a guides have gone ahead of the group to set up camp. When the guests arrive, tents are up as well as the kitchen, wilderness restroom facility and shower. Hot and cold beverages are waiting. Hors d oveurs are served around 6:00 with a full course dinner around 7:00 p.m. After dinner the guests can hike, fish, or just relax around the roaring campfire. Day 2: Guest wake to the smell of fresh coffee and a camp fire. Early risers can help themselves to the early breakfast bar complete with a variety of hot and cold drinks, fruit, granola, yogurt, hot and cold cereals. A full course hot breakfast is served around 8:00 a.m. After breakfast the guides pack up camp and ready the rafts for another day of excitement and exploration on the river. Once again, the guest will have the option of which type of boat they would prefer for the continuing journey down the river. Around mid-day the group stops for a riverside lunch. The afternoon is spent on the river and exploring some of the highlights of this river canyon. Late afternoon we arrive at our next camp, all set up and ready. Includes: (B), (L), (D);
Day 3: Similar to day 2. Includes: (B), (L), (D);
Day 4: We arrive a Mackay Bar Ranch around mid-day where our fleet of backcountry airplanes stand ready to whisk the guest back to the civilized and populated world. Includes: (B).

Tour includes all meals and accommodations while on the river. Guests need only bring their own clothing and tooth brush.
