Your Itinerary
Day 1:
Necessary academics including videos, discussions and quizzes with a certified PADI Instructor in the morning. A nice long hour break for lunch, allowing you to relax on the beach or try restaurant Chile Dulce's infamous Gallo Pinto! In the afternoon we are off to start blowing bubbles in hotel Puerta del Sol's naturally heated swimming pool! Days usually start at 9 a.m., however we are more than willing to tailor to your schedule! Just ask..
Discover Scuba Diving: in this course, you have a 30 minutes lesson with a PADI Instructor discussing all of the basic principles and theories of diving. This is followed by a pool session in which you practice the most used and necessary dive skills. This course also includes two dives with an Instructor in the Open Water. All equipment and course materials are included.
Day 2:
We start the second day of your adventure with a hot cup of coffee while we complete the academic portion of the course. Don't forget your swimsuit, because after lunch, we are off to the pool! You're halfway finished!
Scuba Diver Certification:
Typically a two day course consisting of the first portion of the Open Water course (below). This course consists of 3 Knowledge modules, 3 Confined Water sessions and 2 Open Water dives with skill sessions. Upon completion you can dive anywhere in the world for the rest of your life accompanied by a Divemaster or Instructor.
Day 3:
You're diving now, baby! Depart Coco beach at 9 a.m. heading for your first shallow water training dive (max. 40ft/12m). Then, a surface interval with de-briefing and log-book signing! Keep an eye out for the plentiful sea turtles, dolphins and pilot whales that frequent the surface! On to training dive 2 at a different dive site. By now, you will definitely be hooked!
Day 4:
At 9am we board back onto our luxurious 35ft trimaran to complete dives 3 and 4. After completing all of your new skills, you..yes you...are a PADI Open Water certified diver!
