Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival day, transfer to the Beach Hotel in Muscat where you will spend the first night of our tour.
Day 2: After checking out your adventure tour will begin. On our first day we are going to hike through the so-called Snake Canyon which is named like that due to its serpentine style. At the end of the canyon we will take our four wheels again and pass Balad Sayt while driving through Wadi Bani Awf which is one of the most stunning wadis in Oman, you will experience great views and some nice off-roading ways. After visiting the marvelous village of Misfa Al Abreen we will drive to Nizwa to stay there overnight in a hotel. Includes: (B), (L).
Day 3: In the morning we will discover the town of Nizwa with its beautiful old fort and the traditional souq. After buying some handicrafts we are heading to the Wahiba Sands. There we can enjoy some dune-bashing before enjoying some Arabic coffee together with a Bedouin family. After dinner we will set up our camp directly in the desert. Includes: (FB).
Day 4: After breakfast our journey continues while driving across the Wahiba Sands along the amazing natural forest of Gaph trees, there will be many opportunities to enjoy the natural beauty of this landscape. After viewing the fishing village of Qurun we will continue along the coast to Ras Al Ruways, Ras Al Ruways is visually stunning as this is where the dunes meet the Arabian Sea. We will set camp on the beach with plenty of time to enjoy the refreshing sea waters. Includes: (FB).
Day 5: From Ras Al Ruways we will go to Ras Al Junaiz to enjoy one of the most beautiful beaches in Oman – including the opportunity to see a few turtles nestling in the sandy beach around us. The remaining hours of the day we will spend in sympathy with the sea and the hills around. Includes: (FB).
Day 6: After having our breakfast we will head on back to Muscat. But not without stopping at three more occasions worth to be seen. First of all we will drive through Wadi Tiwi where we can have our lunch. Which we will need before trekking to the pools of Wadi Shab. At one of the pools there is a large cave with a waterfall inside – just amazing. We will have a look at the Bait Al Afreet – the house of the demon – next to Dibab as well before going back to the Beach Hotel in Muscat. Includes: (B), (L).
Day 7: Before we will have to say good bye you might take the opportunity to see some dolphins and go snorkelling. Or optional we can do a city tour in Muscat as well. Maybe you just want to spend your last day at the beach? It is your choice, as always with M19492. And during your flight back home you will have plenty of time to remember the nice drives and views during your adventure tour. Includes: (B).
Information on self-drive tour: While driving on your own, no overnight stays in roof tents are possible. However, you will be able to stay in normal high quality tents based on double occupancy as well. The rates for self-drive tours are without providing the food, but including soft drinks. Therefore you will be able to buy your preferred meals by your own which will be prepared with the help of our accessories. Due to the lower number of guides it is requested from our self-drive guests to set up and break the camps with the help of our guides by themselves and you will be responsible for preparing the food as well. This will give you the true experience of outdoor life in the Sultanate of Oman.
The rented cars will be Toyota Land-Cruisers model 2007 or 2008. To be allowed to drive in Oman you will need to provide an international driver license upon picking up the car. These ones are fully insured, however there is a percentage excess from RO 50 to RO 250 (depending on the car rental company) per car in case of an accident which will not be covered by M19492. The rates for self-drive tours are based on the minimal required amount of cars due to the number of guests. More cars can be taken with the respective result in price changes, of course.
Note: The driver is expected to drive carefully and in accordance with the traffic rules in Oman. He has to ensure to follow the instructions of our guides.

Due to the possibility to customize (changes in itineraries, different hotels) the tour rates may change. Price depends on number of persons and on type (self-drive or not) as well. The exact prices will be given after finalizing the concrete itinerary upon inquiry.
