Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Transfer to the Canyon of Matka (10km from Skopje). By using boats on the Matka Lake we will enjoy an untouched nature on the way to a nearby cave that we are going to visit. After approximatelly hour and a half we will continue to the city of Ohrid on the famous Ohrid Lake where we will overnight (Skopje-Ohrid 170km). Sightseeing of the city with a professional guide including the Ohrid Fortress, St. Sofia Church, Plaosnik Monastery and St.Kaneo Church, followed by a 15min shore boat ride with an explanation of the history of the lake.
Day 2: After the Breakfast in the Hotel we continue to the Prespa Lake where we will have about an hour braik before we continue climbing by vehicle the Galicica National Park. On the peak of the park the visitors are able to view the both lakes Ohrid and Prespa at once which is a tremendeous experience. The road leads us to the Fishermen Villages of Ljubanista and Trpeica on the Ohrid Lake before we stop for about 3hour braik at St.Naum which is the last Macedonian location before Albania. At St.Naum we will enter the St.Naum Monastery and we will have a boat ride on the wells of the river Drim. After the lunch that we will have there, transfer back to Ohrid for an overnight.
Day 3: After breakfast in the hotel we continue to a village tour of the villages of Racica (near Ohrid) where we will visit the so called "Natural Washing Machine" followed with a visit of the village of Podmocani (Prespa Region) where we will enter the Ethno Museum that is consisted of all kinds of Macedonian Folklore Dresses and Artifacts. All the dresses are handmade and we will have a unique chance to view how they make them. After the Museum we go to the village of Ljubojno and Brajcino in the Prespa region on the beginings of the Baba Mountain. Located on a amazing nature we will have a 2-3 hour braik with an authentic Macedonian lunch. Transfer back to the Hotel in Ohrid for an Overnight.
Day 4: After breakfast we continue to the National Park of Mavrovo via the Debar Lake and the canyon of the river of Radika. We will stop to enter the St. John Monastery as well as the waterfalls in the village of Rostuse. The both atractions are 30min drive before we reach the National park. In Mavrovo we will have a panoramic tour around the Mavrovo Lake with the vehicle and we will stop for a lunch. End of the Tour
