Tour Itinerary:

Tórshavn – Shetland – Bergen

Day 1: In Tórshavn, sightseeing on one hand visit to Kirkjub. The old cultural center of Kirkjub. A coach trip from Tórshavn to the cultural center of the Faroes to visit the old center of culture. Visit the roughly 900-year-old Roykstovan, where the King's yeoman still lives after 17 generations; Ólav's Church from AD 1111, named after King Olav the Holy. This church is the oldest church in the Faroes, and is still in use. We visit the ruins of St. Magnus Cathedral, shich is regarded as one of the largest cultural attractions in the Faroes.

Day 2: In the morning sailing to the village of Nólsoy, after arrival we first walk to Borðan and visit the Lighthouse, this trip is about 5 hours. The lighthouse is at Borðan. The tower, a couple of dwelling houses and an outhouse were built of chiselled stone blocks originating from Borðan in 1893. The lens is one of the biggest in the world, measuring 2,82 metres in diameter and weighing about 4 tonnes. Back in the village food is served onboard. there is some time for walking in the village. Late evening we visit Jens Kjeld Jensen workshop Jens-Kjeld Jensen is an ornithologist and a taxidermist; he has a wide knowledge of animals and insects. In the workshop you can buy stuffed birds and other souvenirs. Close to the village is the world’s largest colony of storm petrel. The storm petrel is a beautiful small bird, flying only in the evening and night. Jens-Kjeld arranges nightly walks where this rare bird can be watched and, not least, listened to.

Day 3: Sailing to the Island of Hestur, there we visit the birdclifs on the Westside of the Islands, with the dingy sailing to the cave called Klæmintsgjógv, where an musician will play a concert. After the concert sailing to the village of Hestur, where a local guide is waiting to walk with us up on the mountain of Hestur wich holds seven lakes with very beautiful surroundings on the top.

Day 4: Sailing early in the morning to Stóra Dímun where we go ashore and walk up on the Islands, where we visit the family, the farmer will tell us about the Island Stóra Dímun. After staying for about 3 hours on Stóra dímun, sailing on to Tøroyri the capital of Suðuroy, where enjoying a good meal onboard and free time ashore.

Day 5: All depending on wheather we can sail late evening of Day 4 or in day 5 at sea.

Day 6: Arriving in broad daylight in Lerwick

Day 7: Enjoying a day in Lerwick, possible do trip by road or sail to other place.

Day 8: Depending on weather, its possibol to visit Fair Isle , or set course to bergen.

Day 9: At sea, maybe closing to the shore of bergen.

Day 10: Sailing to bergen in broad daylight.
