Coach drive on the Panorama-Highway to Rapperswil with its famous medieval castle. Continuation to Stein. Visit to the cheese factory, where the famous Appenzeller cheese is made. Then we drive on to the picturesque village of Appenzell. Guided walk through the village with its lovely old painted houses followed by short drive to Brülisau. The aerial cable car takes you to the peak of the panorama mountain Hoher Kasten (1800 m / 6000 ft) with fascinating views over the green and hilly Appenzellerland, the Rhine Valley and the Vorarlberg (Austria). Visit the new revolving Restaurant. Then we drive back to Appenzell where you enjoy about one hour at leisure. The pedestrian zone with its beautiful facades invites you for strolling and shopping. Optional visit to the local museum. Finally we take you to the Chocolate Factory Maestrani where you will be introduced to the secrets and art of chocolate making and even get to taste one of the finest Swiss chocolates.
