Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival Nairobi
You will be met and greet on arrival at the Jomo kenyatta International Airport by one of our Representative who will escort you to the Stanely Hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Nairobi - Mt. Kenya
This morning, drive north to the slopes of Mt. Kenya to arrive in time for lunch at the Serena Mountain Lodge. Game viewing is from the comfort of your lodge overlooking a salt lick that is constantly visited by a variety of animals.
Day 3: Mt. Kenya – Samburu
After breakfast, continue with your safari adventure as you drive further north into the Northern Hemisphere with a brief stop at the Equator. Game drive enroute to the Serena Samburu Lodge.
Day 4: Samburu
Morning and afternoon game viewing sessions with your guide. Animals found here include; the reticulated giraffe, gravy’s zebra, the generuk or giraffe gazelle, beisa Oryx and the blue shanked Somali Ostrich. You will have lunch and leisure break in the mid afternoon. Rest of the meals at the Lodge
Day 5 & 6: Sweetwater’s
After breakfast and your final game drive in Samburu, depart for sweetwater’s Tented camp, set in the heart of a private concession lands. Enjoy magnificent views across the plains to the peaks of Mountain Kenya if weather permits. The following day spend at leisure.
Day 7: Sweetwaters - Lake Nakuru
After breakfast, drive south to Lake Nakuru via Thompson falls which are named after Joseph Thompson, one of the first European explorers who walked from Mombasa to Lake Victoria in the 1880's. Arrive in time for dinner and overnight stay at the Sarova Lion Hill
Day 8: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara
Embark for an early morning game drive in Lake Nakuru. This park has a fantastic array of birdlife including hundreds of flamingoes, White pelicans, marabou stork and other water birds that breeds in the lake’s alkaline waters. Other plain game like white rhino, Rothschild giraffe, Cape buffalo, water buck, reed buck and baboons can be seen. After game drive depart for Masai Mara with a game drive enroute to the keekorok Lodge or Mara Serena Lodge where you will have dinner and overnight stay.
Day 9: Masai Mara
On this day, you can decide either to go for a full day of game tracking with a picnic lunch or go for a morning game drive and come back to the Lodge for lunch. Thereafter end with an afternoon game viewing. Mara is renowned for its great herds of plains game and virtually every type of wildlife to be found in Kenya including the big five namely; Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Leopard and buffalo. Return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 10: Masai Mara
Breakfast will be followed by a morning game drive returning to the Lodge in time for lunch. In the afternoon you will have a choice between a game drive or at extra cost you have a nature walk escorted by armed Masai Guides, or visit the local Masai Village to see their nomadic lifestyle, the Masai are famous for their bravery, as they co-existed with the animals over the years. All meals and overnight at the Lodge.
Day 11: Masai Mara – Nairobi.
After breakfast and your final game drive, depart for Nairobi with lunch enroute arriving in the late afternoon or early evening. Overnight at the Stanley Hotel as you prepare for the next destination.
